Police in anticrime drives arrested 55 persons, including a BNP activist and two Islami Chhatra Shibir workers, from different places in the district last night.According to police sources, the arrested persons also included absconding accused persons of different cases, warranties, thieves, muggers, drug traders, anti-social elements and other suspicious people.
After primary interrogation, police produced the arrested persons before different Rangpur courts from where they were sent to jail hajat later this afternoon, the sources said.
