Dialogue with Bnp-Jamaat to encourage ‘anarchists’: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday again ruled out the possibility of any talks with the BNP chief saying that this will be unproductive because Khaleda Zia will not accept it. “Will she (Khaleda) accept the dialogue? She won’t,” she said.
The Prime Minister was speaking on the notice of independent MP Rustam Ali Farazi in Parliament on finding a way to hold the SSC examinations safely after arranging a dialogue with the representatives of all sectors. Farazi said the SSC examinations should deferred for seven days, if necessary, for holding the dialogue.
The Prime Minister, in her speech, said if the government sits for any dialogue with the BNP-Jamaat nexus the anarchists will then get encouraged. “Those who are engaged in evil and destructive activities, including terrorism, would be encouraged by this,” she said.Talking about holding dialogue with Khaleda Zia, Sheikh Hasina said she has had the bad smell of burnt bodies in her hands. “With whom I’ll sit for dialogue, with that person who has had the bad smell of human flesh in her hands?” she questioned adding Khaleda is killing people through arson attacks.
“What will be the result of holding dialogue with this lady?” the Prime Minister questioned further.
Referring to Khaleda’s stay in her Gulshan Office, Hasina said, “Why should she have to live in her office? Why is food served to the office? She is supposed to do her office job and leave the office after finishing daily tasks.”
Hasina questioned about the living of a huge number of people in Khaleda’s office. “Who are these people are there? Are they militants or terrorists? This should be looked into.”
The Prime Minister again termed the destructive activities of BNP-Jamaat alliance terrorist and militant acts.
Coming down heavily on Khaleda Zia for playing game with the fate of general people, the Prime Minister said: “The lives of the people of Bangladesh are not so cheap…we cannot let Khaleda Zia to play with the fate of the people of this country. She (Khaleda) is an insane and perverted person.”
