6 fishermen missing as trawler capsizes in Bay

About six fishermen went missing as a trawler sank in the Bay of Bengal, about 180 km off the Chittagong Port, on Friday.
Lt Commander Rakibul Islam, staff officer (operations) of Bangladesh Navy, said the fishing boat with some 30 fishermen on board capsized in the bay at around 1pm.On information, Navy patrol ship ‘Durjoy’ rushed in and rescued 24 fishermen along with other fishing boats, he said.
The reasons behind the trawler’s capsize could not be known yet. – UNB
