Customs officials seized six gold bars weighing 700 grams at Shah Amanat International Airport in the city on Friday morning.
Parvez Al Zaman, assistant commissioner (Customs) of the airport, said a flight of Oman airways from Muscat landed at the airport around 09:30am.
The customs officials recovered the gold bars after searching the luggage two passengers- Rahim Uddin, 40 and Nurul Haque, 42. The value of the seized gold bar is around Tk 30 lakh. –UNB, Chittagong
