At least six people were killed and a minor injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw in Bagmara, Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Officer in-charge (OC) of Tarakanda police Mazharul Haque said the Netrakona bound CNG auto-rickshaw was hit by the truck around 5:45pm, killing six of the passengers on the spot.
An injured minor was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
