Dhaka – Detectives in a drive arrested six alleged members of a fake currency racket with Tk 66 lakh counterfeit currency notes from different parts of the city on Tuesday night.Identities of the arrestees could not be known yet,UNB News Agency Reported.Tipped off, the Detective Branch (DB) of police launched a drive in different parts of the city and arrested the six at night, said Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman.The law enforcers also recovered fake currency notes worth Tk 66 lakh from their possession.Details of the arrest will be informed at a press briefing later, he added.
