Gazipur -A six-year-old boy died and his playmate was injured after falling into a borehole in Sukundir Bagh area of the city on Saturday.Witnesses said the 10-12 feet deep and five feet wide hole was dug in front of Ideal School and College for setting up a submersible water pump.In the morning, Romanul, 6, son of Billal Hossain, and Pervez, 5, son of Amir Ali, fell into the hole, filled with water, while playing beside it around 10am.As the mishap came to their notice, locals pulled up the two children from the hole.They were rushed to Tongi Hospital where doctors declared Romanul dead.
