710 grams gold recovered from airport

Customs officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport seized 710 grams gold from two passengers of United Airlines from Kuala Lumpur on Thursday morning.
Assistant Commissioner (customs) Al Amin said Alal Uddin, 30, and Abdur Rahim, 35, were landed at the airport from an aircraft of United airways at about 5:35 am.When Alal Uddin and Abdur Rahim were crossing green channel of the airport, customs officials challenged them and found gold in their possession, the AC (Customs) said.
He said 460 grams gold was found the two belt buckles made of gold from Alal Uddin’s possession, while 250 grams of gold was found in pieces Customs-Gold inside of Rahim’s luggage. – News Desk
