Fisheries Department has distributed identity cards among 712 fishermen of Ramganj upazila of the district on Wednesday.All registered and identity card holders fishermen of the district from now will get government facilities including bank loan to boost their business.
The distribution ceremony was held at the upazila parishad auditorium with UNO Mohammad Abu Yousuf in the chair.Ramganj Upazila Parishad chairman AKM Ruhul Amin, assistant project director of Ministry of Fisheries, Abdur Razzak, other officials’ concerned, public representatives and elites of the town were present on the occasion. -BSS, Lakshmipur
