Chittagong district police detained 10 activists of BNP-Jamaat-Shibir from different upazilas of the district on Thursday night.Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district said they were detained in overnight raids in various places including Sitakunda and Satkhania Upazilas on Thursday night and today.Among the detainees, two were Jamaat activists, one Islami Chhatra Shibir activists and five BNP activists, the police officer said adding that they were detained to prevent possible acts of sabotage during country-wide blockade enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance. -BSS, Chittagong
