Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive seized 800-kg jatka (small hilsa fish) from a trawler on Arial Khan River in Sadar upazila last night.On a tip-off, a coast guard team from Barisal conducted the drives on the river and recovered the fish from the trawler, said fisheries officer Bimal Chandra Das.Sensing the presence of law enforcers the fish traders fled away from the scene.The seized jatka was distributed to the poor and orphanages in the district this morning.
