Nine police constables have been injured in Rajshahi when a vehicle carrying them was bombed on Thursday. Boalia Police Station OC Ziaur Rahman Zia said that the attack took place around 12pm at the city’s Rajarhata intersection.According to witnesses, Opposition activists were returning after attending a procession when a handmade bomb was hurled at a nearby police truck which was parked.
The bomb exploded at the back of the truck and left 9 police constables injured. OC Zia said that the injured have been taken to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
