Dhaka – Newfound shining star of Bangladesh cricket Mehedi Hasan Miraz has been flooded with greetings as he arrived at his Khalishpur residence in the city from capital Dhaka on Monday.The entire area took a festive mood with Miraz’s home turning into a centre of all attention.Cricket lovers and fans greeted Miraz with sweetmeats and flowers. People from other areas also came to see him and received him with warm love.While receiving the guests, Miraz’s father Md Jalal Hossain said his son is now the pride of whole Bangladesh, not only of Khulna,UNB News Agency Reported.Local MP Mizanur Rahman, former MP Nazrul Islam, acting Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Anisur Rahman Biswas, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) councillor and Khulna Football Association president Advocate M Saiful Islam and people from all walks of life, including politicians, officers, sports organisers, mediamen and relatives visited Miraz’s house on Tuesday to greet him.Miraz will return to Dhaka on Wednesday to join his franchise team Rajshahi Kings for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 Cricket that will kick off on November 4.The super Miraz helped Bangladesh beat England by 108 runs in the 2nd match of the two-match Test series against England. He was adjudged man of the match for 12 scalps in the 2nd match while he earned the man of the series award capturing 19 wickets in the series.
