Dhaka – Hefazat-e-Islami Bangladesh (HIB), a quomi madrasha based organization, on Friday warned that it would bring out a long march towards Myanmar if massacre on Rohingya Muslims are not stopped immediately. Leaders of city unit of Hefazat-e-Islami made the warning while speaking at a protest meeting in front of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after juma prayer.
The Hefazat leaders accused Myanmar army and Rakhine miscreants of carrying out barbaric attacks and repressions of Muslim people burying the human rights.
They questioned that roles of United Nations and OIC and those are talking about human rights and wanted to know where are they when innocent people including woman and children are being killed and homes are set on fire.
Maulana Noor Hossain Kasemi, who presided over the rally, said no Muslim can remain silent when Myanmar army is carrying out massacre on Muslims.
He called upon the Muslim Ummah to stand beside the Rohingya Muslims and Bangladesh government to giving shelter to them.
Mufti Wakkas held the United Nations to protect Muslims and demand formation of a separate UN to protect the Muslims, if necessary.
Joint secretary general of HIB said they would be bound to bring out a long march towards Myanmar if the massacre is not stopped.
He also demanded bring back the Nobel peace price form Aung San Suu Kyi for her silence towards the cruel and barbaric attack on Muslims.
Maulana Abdul Hamid, pir of Madhupur, Maulana Abul Hasnat Amini, Maulana Abdul Latif Nezami and Maulana Zafrullah Kahn, among others, also addressed the rally.
The rally was followed by a big procession which paraded different city roads protesting the Muslim massacre in Myanmar.-STAFF REPORTER
