A Dhaka court on Monday deferred submission of the investigation report in connection with the terror attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery on July 1.Magistrate Zakir Hossain Tipu of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order as the Investigation Officer of the case, DB Police Inspector Shaikh Mahmudur Rahman did not submit any report yesterday (Monday).
On July 1, armed militants attacked the Holey Artisan Baker in Dhaka’s Gulshan area and killed 20 hostages- nine Italian, seven Japanese, two Bangladeshis, one Indian and one Bangladesh-born US citizen. Two police officers were also killed in the incident. – Special Correspondent
