Dhaka – Two suspected pirates of ‘Shamsu Bahini’ were killed in a ‘gunfight’ with members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) at Badamkhali Khal of Sundarbans East Department in Sarankhola upazila in Bagerhat on Wednesday morning.The deceased were identified as Hossain Mollah, 28, and Al-Amin, 30,UNB news agency reported.Adnan Kabir, deputy commanding officer of Rab-8 of Bagerhat, said the gunfight took place between the members of the elite force and the pirates around 8:15 am.After the gunfight, the bullet-hit bodies of Mollah and Al-Amin were recovered from the spot, Adnan added.The Rab members also recovered 11 firearms and 227 rounds of bullets from the spot.
