Dhaka – An accused in the murder case of Daffodil International University student Kapil Baroi was on Thursday placed on a three-day remand to quiz him in connection with the murder.Metropolitan Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari of Dhaka passed the remand order. Earlier, DB Inspector Abdus Sobhan, who is also the Investigation Officer of the case, produced the accused to the court with 10 days' remand plea.
On Wednesday, Police arrested accused Nazmul Haq from Sylhet in connection with the murder.
Kapil Baroi was abducted from Baridhara in the capital on December 18 this year. His body was found at a house in the city's Vatara area, three days after he went missing. – Special Correspondent
