Dhaka, Jan 7 – Police arrested six alleged robbers from Bagbari village in Kamarkhanda upazila od Sirajganj on Friday.The arrestees were identified as Majnu, 30, Ismail, 24, and Abdul Majid, 55, and his three sons — Rafiq, 28, Mamin, 25 and Nasim, 22, all residents of the village.
Mohammad Daud, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge (West) Police Station, said police conducted a drive in the area in the evening and arrested them.
The law enforcers also recovered some sharp weapons from their possession.
The arrestees were wanted in a robbery case filed with the police station, the OC added. – UNB
