Dhaka – A motorcycle rider was killed as a bus hit his bike in Jokarchar area on the Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway under Kalihati upazila in Tangail this morning.The deceased was identified as Hafizur Rahman, 35, son of Amjad Hossain, a resident of Pirganj in Rangpur district.Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit the motorcycle at the area from opposite direction, leaving the bike rider dead on the spot.Police recovered the body and sent it to Tangail Medical College Hospital for autopsy.BSS
