Dhaka – Two employees of Islamic University (IU) were killed as a truck ran them over in Gojnobipara area under Islamic University Police Station on Friday afternoon.The deceased were identified as Sanowar Hossain, 45, a resident of Pabna, and Amirul Islam Bakul, 50, of Kushtia.M Shohag Milon, assistant sub-inspector of IU Police Station, said the speeding truck of ‘Akiz Group’ hit the university employees on Kushtia-Jhenidah Highway in the area around 4:00pm, leaving them dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy, the ASI added.UNB
