Mothers urged to send their kids to school

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Dr Afsarul Amin urged
the mothers and guardians to send their children to the schools
regularly for  ensuring 100 percent enrolment in order to establish
qualitative  primary education as well as an enlightened and dignified
nation.
He was addressing a views sharing meeting with mothers to ensure 100
percent enrolment in the primary level through social motivation at
Muktagacha Nabarun Biddya Niketon high school ground on Thursday.
Muktagacha upazila administration and upazila education office jointly
organised the meeting.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mustakim Billah Faruquee, the
meeting was addressed, among others, by Alhaj K M Khalid MP and
Administrator Zila parisad Advocate Zahirul Haque.
The state minister said present government has been working under the
dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the development
of education from primary to higher education.
In order to achieve desired goal the government has been continuing
its free distribution of text books and distribution of stipend for
the poor students, he added.
He said, the government has already planned to appoint more than 7,500
new primary teachers by next July and August.
