Mymemsingh – A funny debate competition was held at ‘Mukhtomoncho’ of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh on Valentine’s Day.BAU debating society organized the programme on the occasion of ‘Boshonto Boron’, titled by “Valobasha More Korecha Vikari, Tomare Koreche Rani”.
BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ali Akbar addressed the programme as a chief guest while pro-VC Prof Dr Jasimuddin Khan, Student affairs adviser Prof Dr S D Chowdhury as a special guest.
Prof Dr Md Mahmudul Hasan Sikder was the moderator of the debate programme while Prof Dr Mohammad Moniruzzaman presided over it.
Md Abu Sayem, Shihab Sakib Eshan, Md Rageeb Hassan Borshon (team leader) on affirmative team while Miladun Nahar Rima, Sayeda Kanta Khanom, Sharfun Nahar Likhi (team leader) on rebuttal team.
Rebuttal team won the competition and Md Rageeb Hassan Borshon selected best speaker.
