In particular, we invite individuals who are using faith or ethical-spiritual based frameworks, especially Islam, in their organizing to hear how Bhasani organized peasant, workers within the Islamic and left traditions, while capturing the hearts and minds of mass population. In a climate of acute Islamophobia, conservative reactionary politics, neoliberalism, what insights do Bhasani’s life, philosophy and organizing provide to activists both here in US and around the globe.
