Dhaka -A housewife died after being electrocuted in Panchbibi Upazila of the district last night.The deceased was identified as Karima Begum, 28, hailed from the village Nakurgachi of the upazila.agencyPolice said the incident took place last night amid a storm which knocked down a tree on a power line of Karima’s house. A cow was electrocuted first. When Karima tried to save the cow, she was electrocuted and died.Hearing Karima’s cry for help, locals rushed to the spot and tried to save her. At that moment four others were also injured.The injured people were admitted to Panchbibi Health Complex.
