Dhaka – Police arrested a young man from Pallabi area of the city on Thursday night on charge of raping a minor girl.Police said the arrestee, Md Rasel, 32, reportedly raped one of his distant sisters-in-law at his house at Block-D of Mirpur Section-12 around 10am on June 4.The father of the victim, aged around 12, filed a case against Rasel with Pallabi Police Station on the same day.Based on a tip-off, a team of police arrested the alleged rapist from the Block-D around 11pm, said officer-in-charge of the police station Dadan Fakir.UNB news agency
