Dhaka – Police arrested 42 people from different areas of the city during 24-hour long drive till Friday morning for their alleged involvement in illegal drug trading as well as taking drugs.The law enforcers also recovered 2,000 contraband sex-stimulating tablets, 30 grams hemp, 1516 sachets of heroin and 135 injections during the anti-drugs drives, said Masudur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) along with the officials of several police stations conducted the drives from 6am on Thursday.UNB news agency
