Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive here on Saturday arrested an alleged arms trader along with arms and ammunition in Kamadpara area under Binodpur union at Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj.The detainee is identified as Tahurul Islam, 25, son of Parul Islam of Kiranganj area of the upazila.In a press statement Rab-5 said acting on a tip-off they conducted a raid in the area around 12:30 pm and arrested Tahurul with two pistols, five rounds of bullets and four magazines.A case was filed with Shibganj Police Station in this connection.UNB news agency
