Dhaka- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a suspected arms trader from a mango orchard at Kagmari in Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganjon Saturday afternoon.Acting on a tip off that a gang of arms traders gathered at Kagmari, a Rab team, led by additional superintendent of police Sakibul Islam, conducted a raid there around 2:30 pm.During the drive, the elite force members arrested Jamrul Haque, 28, son of Hamed Ali Biswas, a resident of Lambapara in Shibganj upazila, along with a foreign pistol, six bullets and two magazines.A case was filed with Shibganj Police Station in this connection.UNB news agency
