Dhaka – A man was shot to death in Iqbal road area in the city’s Shewrapara on Monday night.The deceased was identified as Anisur Rahman Anis, 45, a contractor, and a resident of Paschim Shewrapara.Sub-Inspector Bachchu Miah, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, said that two miscreants opened fire on Anisur in front of a tea stall of the area around 10:00 pm, leaving him critically injured.Later, he was rushed to DMCH where he succumbed to his injuries around 1:30 am on Tuesday.He received bullets on his head, ear, backside and hand, added the sources.UNB news agency
