Dhaka- Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested five alleged drug traders and recovered 28,000 pieces of contraband Yaba pills from a flat in the city’s Uttara on Friday night.The arrestees are -ring leader Jahid and his four associates- Papiya, Musa, Rafique and Ferdousi.Tipped off, a special team of Rab-1 conducted a drive in a flat of a multi-storied building at Uttara sector-10 around 9:30 pm, said Senior ASP Samia Sultana, Operation Officer of Rab-1.The elite force members arrested the five drug traders and recovered the Yaba pills from the flat.A case was filed in this connection.UNB news agency
