Dhaka – Police recovered the throat-slit body of a teenager from Shaheb Bazar in Haziganj upazila in Chandpur on Sunday morning.The deceased was identified as Asad Hossain, 18, son of M Rafiqul Islam.Police said Asad went missing after he had gone to local bazar on Saturday night to buy a shuttlecock.Locals spotted his throat-slit body in the morning and informed police, said officer-in-charge of Haziganj Police Station M Jabedul Islam.Miscreants might have slaughtered Asad, said the OC adding that the body was sent to morgue for autopsy.However, the reasons behind the murder could not be ascertained.UNB news agency
