Dhaka – Police in a drive arrested two people, including a woman, along with 11,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from a house at Shiroil in the city on Thursday morning.The arrestees were identified as Shawkat Ali, son of Liakat Ali, hailing from city’s Bhadra area, and Jesmin alias Bibijan, wife of Belal a resident of Mirkamari.Tipped-off, police conducted the drive at the house and arrested the duo with the contraband pills, said assistant commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (West) Amir Zafar.Two different cases were lodged in connection with the incident, Zafar added.UNB news agency
