Jessore, Jan 28 (UNB) – Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 200 grams of heroin from Chachra Check Post area in Sadar upazila on Friday night.The arrestee was identified as Hossain Ali alias Mora, son of Sekandar Ali of Raipara area in the district town.Jamal Uddin, sub-inspector of Chachra Check Post Police Camp, said on secret information a team of police took position in the area and arrested Hossain Ali.Later, the law enforcers recovered 200 grams of heroin from his possession after searching his body.There are several cases filed with different police stations of the district against Hossain, the SI added.
