Dhaka – A court here on Tuesday awarded death penalty to a man for killing his mother-in-law in Mubarakpur of Sadar upazila in 2016.The convict was identified as Alamgir, 35,son of late Jabbar Ali of Mubarakpur in Sadar Upazila of the district.The court also fined Alamgir Tk 20,000.According to the case statement, on March 1 in 2016, Alamgir hacked his mother-in-law Fatema khatun, 50, to death over a family feud.UNB news agency
