A man was killed and 10 others injured in a clash between two rival groups over demarcating a piece of land at Joina Bazar in Sripur upazila on Friday.Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Police said there had been a dispute between the owners of Uttara Spinning Mill and Arif Group over demarcation of a piece of land for long.
As a sequel to it, a group of outsiders, equipped with firearms, from the Arif Group side attacked the workers of Uttara Spinning Mill, leaving one person dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
Police recovered the body. – UNB
