On Tuesday night some unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at
Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) office which is newly formed at
Kaliganj upazila town of the district.
No one was hurt in the explosion. Kaliganj upazila committee convener
Kamrul Islam said, no one was present at the office at that time. Some
unidentified people exploded bombs at the office on Tuesday night at
around 10-30 pm, Kamrul added.
Officer in charge (OC) Liakot Hossain of Kaliganj police station said,
this newly set up office at Kaliganj upazila town was inaugurated on
Tuesday at around 1-30 pm. On the same night some unidentified
miscreants exploded bomb.
Additional police have been deployed here. District convener of the
party Mizanur Rahman condemned this heinous activitiy and demanded
nabbing of the culprits. – – Our Correspondent
