Police in a drive recovered five live bombs from a mango orchard in Bagadangi village of Monirampur upazila early Friday.Abdul Latif, in-charge of Jhapa police camp in Monirampur upazila, said that acting on a tip-off, he led a police team in a drive in the village and recovered the five bombs in abandoned condition.
No one was arrested in this connection.
Police suspected that miscreants might have kept the bombs in the mango orchard for committing terrorist activities in the area. – UNB
