Dhaka – A college girl allegedly committed suicide by taking poison over a family feud in Borakotha village of Uzirpur upazila in Barisal on Monday morning.The deceased was identified as Rabeya, 18, daughter of Abdul Gani Hawlader of Borakotha village.Rabeya, a student of Borakotha Union Degree College, lived with her mother Mukul Begum in their house, said locals adding that after a feud with her mother she consumed poison on Sunday night.Following the incident, she was first taken to upazila health complex from where she was referred to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College.Later on Monday morning, she died at the hospital, said Ward Master Abul Kalam of the hospital. The body was sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy, he added.
