Dhaka- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three people along with a touchstone weighing 27 kilograms from Bhimkathi village in Nazirpur upazila in Pirojpur on Thursday morning.The arrestees were identified as Abdur Rahman, Kibria Sheikh and Nisith Mandal, said Joynal Abedin, deputy additional director of Rab-6.
Being tipped-off, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the house of Abdur Rahman and recovered the touchstone worth around Tk 27 crore.
Later, they arrested the trio in connection with the recovery.UNB
