Shariatpur – Police on Thursday recovered the throat-slit body of a rickshaw puller from Uporgaon Guccha village in Sadar upazila.
The deceased was identified as Sajib Sardar, 21, son of Abdul Kuddus Sardar of Nilkandi village of the upazila.
Being informed by locals police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Maniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
Quoting victim’s father, police said Sajib did not return home in the night and his phone was found switched off since 9 pm on Wednesday night.UNB
