Magura – Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 325 Yaba tablets from the Dhaka Road bus stand area in the district town on Tuesday night.
The arrestee was identified as Tariqul Islam, 35, son of Nurul Islam of Sonatundi village in Sreepur upazila.
Sub-inspector Oliar Rahman arrested Tariqul red-handed from Maria Store while he was selling Yaba pills, said Ilias Hossain, officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station.
At that time, 325 Yaba tablets and Tk 60,000 in cash were also seized from his possession, the OC added.A case was filed with the police station in this connection.UNB
