Dhaka – Twenty seven members of three forest robber gangs surrendered to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal along with their arms and ammunition at Swadhinata Uddyan in Bagerhat town on Sunday.The members of Dan Bahini, Sumon Bahini and Jahangir Bahini surrendered to the Home Minister in the afternoon.The gang members deposited 28 firearms and 81 rounds of bullets.
The forest robbers will be provided with proper assistance for their rehabilitation, said the Home Minister during the surrender programme.UNB
