Dhaka – A minor boy was killed when a CNG-run auto rickshaw ran over him while crossing a road at Chiknaishar village in Sirajdikhan upazila in Munshiganj on Saturday noon.The deceased was identified as Zobaed Hossain, 5, son of Zillur Rahman of the village.
Witnesses said the vehicle hit Zobaed when he was crossing the road in front Shukumar Primary School in the village leaving him dead on the spot.However, the driver managed to flee the scene, said Abul Kalam, officer-in-charge of Sirajdikhan Police Station.
