Cox’s Bazar – Beximco Dhaka Masters and Air Asia Rajshahi Masters won their respective matches on the opening day of the first ever 100-ball Walton Masters Cricket Carnival at two grounds of the Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.
In the opening match, Khaled Mahmud Sujon-led Beximco Dhaka Masters earned a dramatic one-run victory over Faruk Ahmed-led R Nations Khulna Masters at the academy ground.
In the day’s other match at the main stadium, Air Asia Rajshahi Masters beat Masters Sylhet Sixers by six wickets.
On the 2nd day (Thursday), Beximco Dhaka Masters will play Air Asia Rajshahi Masters at 11 am while Ambeer Chittagong Masters will face Masters Sylhet Sixers at 3 pm at Academy ground while R Nations Khulna Masters will play Air Asia Rajshahi Masters at main stadium.UNB
