Dhaka – Police recovered the body of a schoolgirl from the bank of Karnaphuli River near Patenga sea beach in Chattogram on Wednesday.The deceased was identified as Tashfia, a class IX student of Sunshine English Grammer School and daughter of Mohammad Amin, a resident of Nizam Road in the city.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body from the north side of no 18 bridge of the Patenga sea beach around 9:30 am, said Anwar Hossain, sub-inspector of Patenga Police Station.
Tashfia came out from her home on Tuesday to meet her boyfriend Adnan and since then she remained missing.Later, police arrested Adnan, a resident of South Khulshi area.UNB
