At least 20 people were injured in a clash over a piece of disputed
land at Nagorpur village in Tahirpur upazila of the district on
Tuesday.
Of the injured, two were admitted to the district Sadar hospital in a
critical condition and five to Tahirpur Upazila Health Complex.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Tahirpur Police Station Mollah Monir Hossain
said Saiful Islam and Kafil Uddin of the village had been at
loggerheads over a piece of land for long.
When Saiful went to cultivate the land around 1.00pm, Kafil along with
his followers attacked him triggering a fierce clash that left 20
