Dhaka- The Department of Environment (DoE) on Wednesday in a drive seized some 700 kgs of banned polythene from three factories in the city’s Chawkbazar area.During the drive, led by executive magistrate Tanjila Kabir Tropa, the three factories owned by Md Babul, Md Sabuj and Abdul Hamid were also fined Tk 2.30 lakh, said a DoE handout.UNB
