BGB man found dead in Chuadanga

A Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) man was found dead in a frontier area in Damurhuda upazila on Monday morning.
Police recovered the body of Amir Hossain, 36, Nayek of Munshipur BGB Camp under Battalion-6. He hailed from Sadar upazila in Comilla district.
BGB sources said Amir along with four other BGB men went on a patrol in the border area on Sunday night. Although others returned on Monday morning, Amir remained missing.
Later, his body was recovered from a jute field, 900 yards off the BGB camp, around 1pm. The body was sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
BGB Battalion-6 commanding officer Lt Col Gazi Asaduzzaman said Amir died of heart attack.
Declining to make any comment, police super Abdur Rahim Shah Chowdhury said things will be clear after investigation. -UNB
