Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed leaves here for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday on a three-day visit at the invitation of the UAE Armed Forces.
During the visit, the army chief will meet the Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces and the Land Forces Commander, said an ISPR release on Friday.He will also visit the Al-Hamra Combat Training Centre during the tour.
The visit is expected the boost the bilateral relations and training assistance between the armies of Bangladesh and the UAE. The army chief will return home on November 14. Mentionable, General Aziz Ahmed is the first Bangladeshi army chief who is going to visit the UAE at the invitation of the UAE Armed Forces.
