40 persons were injured in a fierce clash between two rival groups of villagers at Horma village under Debinagar union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this morning. Rais Uddin, Sub inspector (S.I) of sadar thana said, while playing Carom boys became involved in quarrel at Horma bazar yesterday evening. Following this, people of Danesh Mondoler Tola and Soleman Mondoler Tola were locked in fierce clash today at around 7-30 am. Of the injured, Mohbul, 18, Munera, 45 and Renu Begum, 50 were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and 12 others were admitted to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.
